Brought to you by Wondercafe.ca and First United Church, the Paint Your Faith project will be hitting the city of Vancouver with a 13' x 130' mural at 55-57 W. Hastings Street, across from the Woodwards Building. This time around, the four internationally acclaimed aerosol artists working as a collective to express their unique and unified interpretation of faith will be Faith47 from South Africa, Titi Freak from Brazil, Peeta from Italy and Vancouver's own Indigo.
For seven days, these artists will take a blank wall and turn it into their own personal canvas, creating a piece of art that will change the Vancouver landscape and open discourse for what faith, spirituality and art is really about.

On Saturday, September 19, 2009, WonderCafe.ca – the interactive website created by The United Church of Canada – in collaboration with Smith Roberts Creative Communications, launched Paint Your Faith to the world from Toronto, Canada. The mural, donated by Metropolitan United Church, reflected the collective interpretation of faith of four world renowned aerosol artists – Chor Boogie, Siloette, Elicser and Mediah – created over two weeks of collaboration.
An all day celebration, people were invited to take in the work, chat with the artists as well as explore and express what faith means to them on one of the many canvases that were available. And if that weren’t enough, people were able to enjoy some BBQ and take in some music and performance arts.
And if you couldn’t make it to the corner of Church and Shuter on that sunny day, WonderCafe made you sure you didn’t miss a beat as it featured video updates of the wall’s creation from start to finish, interviews with the artists and attendees, downloadable screensavers and much more.
